Ragnarok Server Installation 101

Okay, this is basically a walkthrough of installing RO on your pc. If you have an up to date-ragray using ro, and you know how it functions, you don't need to read. The bottom has all of the downloads and the names of said downloads.

Step 1: Now-a-day's this process has become so much simpler as RO is now in Ragray's all in one package, and even better yet, it's in english. The first objective is to download and install ragray which is the most important part. Due to copywrites on Ragray and the fact that i can't host a 1gig download you must download it from the site. Download ragray here. You have to download it in multiple parts unfortunately. You MUST download the ragray from 7/30/2010 or more recent if one does come. Install in the folder C: Program Files\Gravity\RO\. It will automatically make itself a folder entitled ragray, therefor putting your RO in Program Files\Gravity\RO\Ragray\ , This is good.

Step 2: Now find your Ragray folder and look for a file named Patchup.exe, Run it. (As Vista and 7, run as administrator, if you still have OAC on. If it gives you an error about it's location and administrative controls message me and i will walk you through lowering OAC temporarily personally.

Step 3: Download our ro custom files from here (Not until beta ends, follow beta patcher). Place this .rar in your \ragray folder and right click and hit extract here (WinRAR is required, if needed look down bottom for it.). If your administrative powers kick in and give you an error saying file corrupted or saying no files found then extract it elsewhere and move the files into \ragray (Administration will only error you in your Program Files. A basic desktop folder should be fine.

Step 4: Run InhertorPatcher.exe

Step 5: Register and begin kick'n ass (After you read our rules of course)
